Indications

Stadeltine is indicated for relief of:

• Seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis (e.g., sneezing, itching, runny nose, nasal congestion)

• Chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives) in adults and children aged 6 years and above
   

Instructions

• Dosage:

  • Adults & children ≥ 12 years: 5 mg once daily (one tablet)

  • Children 6–12 years: same dose; in renal impairment use as per CrCl guidelines 

  • Renal impairment dosage:

    • CrCl 50–79 mL/min: 5 mg once daily

    • CrCl 30–49 mL/min: 5 mg every 2 days

    • CrCl < 30 mL/min: 5 mg every 3 days; avoid if CrCl < 10 mL/min or on dialysis 

• Administration: Taken orally, with or without food; swallow whole with liquid 

• Missed Dose: Take as soon as remembered unless it's close to the next dose—do not double the dose.
