• Ibuprofen 100 mg (2 % w/v) – active ingredient.
• Preservatives: Methyl Hydroxybenzoate 0.1% w/v, Propyl Hydroxybenzoate 0.01% w/v, Sodium Benzoate 0.1% w/v.
• Orange-flavored oral suspension

Indications

Winofen is used for:

• Analgesic & anti-inflammatory effects in juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and soft-tissue injuries (e.g. sprains, strains).
• Analgesia for mild to moderate pain (e.g. headache, dental pain).
• Antipyretic for short-term treatment of fever in children over one year old

Instructions for Use

1. Shake well before dosing.
2. Administration:
   • To aid stomach tolerance, take with food or a glass of milk
   • Use the supplied measuring spoon or syringe for accuracy
3. Dosage:
   • Generally, 20 mg/kg/day divided into 3–4 doses.
     • Ages 1–2 years: 2.5 mL 3–4 times a day
     • Ages 3–7 years: 5 mL 3–4 times a day
     • Ages 8–12 years: 10 mL 3–4 times a day
   • For juvenile RA: up to 40 mg/kg/day, not exceeding 4 doses in 24 hours 
4. Timing:
   • Leave at least 6–8 hours between doses.
   • Do not exceed 4 doses per day
