Indication

Reducing elevated LDL-C, total cholesterol, Apo B and triglycerides, and increasing HDL‑C in hyperlipidemia/dyslipidemia; also for primary prevention of cardiovascular events in high-risk adults 

Instruction

Start with 10 mg once daily, with or without food. Dose may be titrated to 20 mg (or 5 mg in patients at increased risk of myopathy like Asian patients) based on LDL‑C levels and treatment goals, under physician guidance
