Indications

Spedifen 400 mg Tablets are indicated for:

• Relief of mild to moderate pain, including:

  • Headache (including migraine)

  • Toothache

  • Dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain)

  • Neuralgia

  • Musculoskeletal pain

  • Post-operative pain

  • Soft tissue injuries

  • Fever

• Rheumatic inflammatory diseases:

  • Rheumatoid arthritis

  • Ankylosing spondylitis

  • Still's disease

• Degenerative rheumatic diseases:

  • Osteoarthritis

• Non-articular rheumatic conditions:

  • Tendonitis

  • Fibrositis

  • Bursitis

  • Myalgia

  • Lumbago

  • Scapulohumeral periarthritis

  • Sciatica

  • Radiculoneuritis
    
     

    Instructions for Use

  • Administration:

    • Take one tablet orally with a full glass of water.

    • Swallow the tablet whole; do not chew, crush, or break it.

    • It is advisable to take the medication with food to minimize gastrointestinal discomfort. 

  • Dosage:

    • Adults: 1 tablet (400 mg) up to four times a day, as needed.

    • Do not exceed a total daily dose of 1,600 mg.

    • Space doses at least 4 hours apart.

    • Elderly patients should use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary. 

  • Precautions:

    • Avoid use if you are allergic to ibuprofen or any other NSAIDs.

    • Do not take if you have active or history of gastrointestinal ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, or certain gastrointestinal disorders.

    • Use with caution in individuals with a history of heart disease, high blood pressure, kidney or liver problems, or asthma.

    • Consult your doctor before using this medication during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

  • Storage:

    • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light.

    • Keep out of reach of children.
