Dexchlorpheniramine Maleate

 

Indications

Sunward Polarax 2 mg Tablet is indicated for:

• Symptomatic treatment of seasonal hay fever, itching skin conditions in urticaria, sensitivity reactions, and other allergic conditions.

 

Instructions

• Dosage:

  • Adults and children over 12 years: 1 tablet every 4–6 hours.

  • Children 6–11 years: ½ tablet every 4–6 hours.

  • Not recommended for children under 6 years.

• Administration: Take orally with or without food.

• Precautions:

  • Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to dexchlorpheniramine or any component of the tablet.

  • Use with caution in individuals with a history of bronchial asthma, hyperthyroidism, cardiovascular disease, or hypertension.

  • Avoid alcohol ingestion as it may enhance drowsiness.

  • May impair the ability to drive or operate machinery due to sedative effects.

  • Use during pregnancy and lactation only if clearly needed.
