Each 5 mL of syrup contains:

• 1 mg Dexchlorpheniramine Maleate

• 15 mg Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride

• 5 mg Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide

 

Indications

Sunward Paedicof Syrup is indicated for:

• Relief of unproductive cough and nasal congestion due to common cold or allergy

 

Instructions

• Dosage:

  • Children 6–11 years: 10 mL every 4–6 hours.

  • Children 2–5 years: 5 mL every 4–6 hours.

• Administration: For oral use only. Shake the bottle well before use. Measure the dose using the provided measuring spoon and take it by mouth.

• Precautions:

  • Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any component, severe hypertension, coronary artery disease, or those receiving monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).

  • Use with caution in patients with hypertension, hypothyroidism, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular disease, narrow-angle glaucoma, stenosing peptic ulcer, pyloroduodenal obstruction, symptomatic prostatic hypertrophy, or bladder neck obstruction.

  • Not recommended for use in children under 2 years of age.

  • May impair the ability to drive or operate machinery.

  • Use during pregnancy and lactation only if clearly needed.
