Indications

• Sunward Nalol 40 mg Tablet is indicated for the treatment of:

  • Hypertension (High Blood Pressure): Helps to lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of cardiovascular events, such as stroke.

  • Angina Pectoris: Helps to relieve chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart.

  • Arrhythmias: Helps to manage irregular heartbeats.

  • Migraine Prophylaxis: Reduces the frequency and severity of migraine attacks.

  • Thyrotoxicosis: Manages symptoms associated with hyperthyroidism.

  • Pheochromocytoma: Used in combination with alpha-blockers to manage symptoms.

  • Anxiety: Reduces symptoms of anxiety, particularly performance anxiety.

  • Essential Tremor: Reduces tremors associated with this condition.

  • Portal Hypertension: Reduces the risk of variceal bleeding in cirrhosis.
    
     

    Instructions

  • Dosage: The dosage of Sunward Nalol 40 mg Tablet varies depending on the condition being treated. It is essential to follow the dosage prescribed by your doctor. The usual dose varies depending on the condition being treated. 

  • Administration: Take the tablet with a full glass of water. It can be taken with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole; do not chew, crush, or break it.

  • Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose at the regular time. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose

  • Precautions:

    • Alcohol Warning: Alcohol enhances the hypotensive effect and may increase the plasma levels of Sunward Nalol 40 mg Tablet.

    • Pregnancy Warning: Sunward Nalol 40 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown side effects on the fetus; however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Consult your doctor.

    • Breastfeeding Warning: Sunward Nalol 40 mg Tablet is excreted in breast milk. It is not advisable for women to breastfeed while consuming Sunward Nalol 40 mg Tablet due to potential adverse drug effects on infants.

    • Driving Warning: Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Propranolol may cause side effects such as dizziness, which could affect the ability to concentrate and drive.

    • Kidney and Liver Warning: Use with caution in patients with kidney or liver impairment. Dose adjustment may be needed. Consult your doctor.
