Dexchlorpheniramine maleate 2 mg, Dextromethorphan HBr 15 mg, Pseudoephedrine HCl 30 mg

 

Indications

• Symptomatic relief of dry/non‑productive cough, nasal congestion, sinusitis, postnasal drip, and rhinitis due to common cold or allergies

 

Instructions

• Adults & children ≥ 12 yrs: 10 mL three times daily.

• Children 6–12 yrs: 5 mL three times daily

• Administration: Shake well; take orally with or without food.

• Precautions/Contraindications:

  • Avoid in infants < 2 yrs, MAOI use, severe hypertension/CAD, glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy, thyroid disorders, diabetes, urinary retention, and obstructive GI conditions 

  • May cause drowsiness, dry mouth, dizziness, and thickened bronchial secretions; avoid alcohol and driving until response known
