Indications

• Symptomatic treatment of urge incontinence.

• Management of increased urinary frequency and urgency associated with overactive bladder syndrome.

• Suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and above.

 

Instructions

• Dosage:

  • Adults: 1 tablet (20 mg) twice daily.

  • Patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance between 10 and 30 mL/min/1.73 m²): 1 tablet daily or every second day.

• Administration:

  1. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

  2. Take on an empty stomach, preferably before meals.

  3. Do not chew or crush the tablet.

• Precautions:

  • Contraindicated in patients with urinary retention, severe gastrointestinal conditions (e.g., toxic megacolon), myasthenia gravis, narrow-angle glaucoma, tachyarrhythmia, and children under 12 years of age.

  • Use with caution in patients with hepatic or renal impairment.

  • Monitor for anticholinergic side effects such as dry mouth, constipation, and blurred vision.

  • Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless clearly needed.

  • Avoid alcohol consumption as it may enhance side effects.
