Fluticasone propionate 125 mcg and Salmeterol xinafoate 25 mcg per actuation
 

Indications

• Regular treatment of asthma in patients who require both an inhaled corticosteroid and a long-acting beta-2 agonist.

• Management of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) including chronic bronchitis and emphysema.

 

Instruction

• Dosage:

  • Adults and adolescents (≥12 years): Two inhalations twice daily or as prescribed by the doctor.

  • Children: Use only under medical supervision.

• How to Use:

  1. Shake the inhaler well before each use.

  2. Breathe out fully away from the inhaler.

  3. Place mouthpiece between lips and close lips around it.

  4. Press the canister down while breathing in slowly and deeply.

  5. Hold your breath for 5 to 10 seconds.

  6. Breathe out slowly.

  7. Repeat if a second inhalation is prescribed.

  8. Replace the cap after use.

• Precautions:

  • Not suitable for relief of acute bronchospasm; use a fast-acting inhaler for sudden attacks.

  • Inform your healthcare provider if you experience side effects or worsening symptoms.

  • Consult your doctor before use if you have heart problems, high blood pressure, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
