Content

• Active Ingredient: Each tablet contains 60 mg of edoxaban (as tosilate).
• Excipients: Each tablet contains lactose monohydrate and other excipients.
• Appearance: The tablets are yellow, round, 10.5 mm in diameter, film-coated, and debossed with “DSC L60” on one side.

Indications

• Prevention of Stroke and Systemic Embolism: For adult patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF) who have one or more risk factors, such as congestive heart failure, hypertension, age ≥75 years, diabetes mellitus, prior stroke, or transient ischemic attack (TIA).
• Treatment of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and Pulmonary Embolism (PE): For the treatment of DVT and PE in adults.
• Prevention of Recurrent DVT and PE: To prevent the recurrence of DVT and PE in adults.

Instructions

• Dosage: The recommended dose is 60 mg once daily.
• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with water. Lixiana can be taken with or without food.
• Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered unless it is almost time for the next dose. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed dose.
• Storage: Store in an airtight container at room temperature below 25°C.
