Content

• Active Ingredient: Each tablet contains 30 mg of edoxaban (as tosilate).
• Excipients: Each tablet contains lactose monohydrate and other excipients.
• Appearance: The tablets are white, round, 11.9 mm in diameter, film-coated, and debossed with “30” on one side and “LIXIANA” on the other.

Indications

• Prevention of Stroke and Systemic Embolism: For adult patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF) who have at least one additional risk factor, such as heart failure, hypertension, age ≥75 years, diabetes mellitus, or a history of stroke or transient ischemic attack.
• Treatment of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and Pulmonary Embolism (PE): For the treatment of DVT and PE in adults.
• Prevention of Recurrent DVT and PE: To prevent the recurrence of DVT and PE in adults.

Instructions

• Dosage: The recommended dose is 30 mg once daily.
• Administration: Lixiana can be taken with or without food.
• Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered unless it is almost time for the next dose. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed dose.
• Storage: Store at controlled room temperature, between 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F).
