Indications

Prednisolone 5mg Tablet is indicated for:

• Asthma and severe allergic reactions

• Rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory joint disorders

• Systemic lupus erythematosus and other collagen diseases

• Ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease

• Leukemia, lymphoma, and other blood disorders

• Nephrotic syndrome and sarcoidosis

• Pemphigus and other skin conditions

Instructions

• Dosage: As prescribed by your doctor; typically, 1–12 tablets once daily, taken after meals

• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not chew, crush, or break it

• Precautions:

  • Avoid alcohol consumption as it may increase gastric irritation

  • Monitor for side effects such as weight gain, mood changes, or gastrointestinal discomfort
