• Active Ingredient: Each tablet contains 120 mg of fimasartan potassium trihydrate, which is equivalent to 120 mg of fimasartan. Fimasartan is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist used to treat hypertension by relaxing blood vessels.

Indication

• Primary Use: Treatment of essential hypertension (high blood pressure) in adults.
• Mechanism of Action: Fimasartan selectively binds to the AT₁ receptor, blocking the vasoconstrictor effects of angiotensin II, leading to blood vessel relaxation and reduced blood pressure.

Instructions for Use

• Dosage: The usual starting dose is 60 mg once daily. If blood pressure is not adequately controlled, the dose may be increased to 120 mg once daily.
• Administration: Take the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, crush, or break the tablet. It can be taken with or without food.
• Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered unless it is almost time for the next dose. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one.
