- Salbutamol Sulphate Each ampoule contains 2.5 mg of salbutamol.

 

Indications:

- Salbuneb Nebuliser Solution is indicated for the treatment of reversible obstructive airway diseases, including:

• Acute severe asthma attacks

• Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

• Other conditions where bronchodilation is required

 

• Instructions:

  • Adults and Children ≥12 years:

    • 2.5 mg to 5 mg via nebuliser up to four times a day.

    • In severe cases, up to 40 mg per day may be administered under strict medical supervision.

  • Children 4–11 years:

    • 2.5 mg to 5 mg via nebuliser up to four times a day.

  • Method of Administration:

    • Open the ampoule by twisting off the top.

    • Empty the contents into the nebuliser reservoir.

    • If necessary, dilute with sterile normal saline to achieve a total volume of 4 ml.

    • Use a suitable nebuliser to administer the solution.

    • Avoid eye contact with the aerosol generated by the nebuliser.

    • Nebulisation should not normally exceed 10–20 minutes.

    • Discard any unused solution remaining in the nebuliser reservoir after use.

• Storage Instructions:

  • Store below 25°C, protected from sunlight.

  • Use immediately after opening the ampoule; do not store partially used ampoules.

  • Single-dose containers without preservatives; discard any unused solution.
