- Semaglutide is a human GLP-1 analogue produced in Saccharomyces cerevisiae cells by recombinant DNA technology.

Ingredient: Salcaprozate sodium, Povidone K90, Microcrystalline cellulose, Magnesium stearate
Each tablet contains approximately 23 mg sodium

 

• Indications: Rybelsus 14 mg is indicated for the treatment of adults with insufficiently controlled type 2 diabetes mellitus to improve glycaemic control as an adjunct to diet and exercise. It can be used:

  • As monotherapy when metformin is considered inappropriate due to intolerance or contraindications.

  • In combination with other medicinal products for the treatment of diabetes.
    
     

• Instructions:

  • Start with 3 mg once daily for 30 days.

  • Increase to 7 mg once daily for at least 30 days.

  • If additional glycaemic control is needed, increase to 14 mg once daily.

  • Take at least 30 minutes before the first food, beverage, or other oral medications of the day with no more than 4 ounces of plain water only.

  • Swallow tablets whole; do not split, crush, or chew tablets
