Indication

• Primary Use: Treatment and prevention of dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis
• Additional Use: Management of tinea versicolor (pityriasis versicolor)
• Mechanism: Ketoconazole is an antifungal agent that works by inhibiting the growth of fungi and yeasts, thereby reducing scaling and itching associated with these conditions

Instructions

• Dosage:
  • For dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis: Apply twice weekly for 2–4 weeks
  • For tinea versicolor: Apply once daily for up to 5 days
  • For maintenance: Apply once every 1–2 weeks as needed
• Application:
  1. Wet hair and scalp thoroughly
  2. Apply a sufficient amount of shampoo to the scalp
  3. Lather and leave on for 3–5 minutes
  4. Rinse thoroughly with water
• Storage: Store at 20–25°C, away from light and heat
