Content

• Active Ingredient: Sumatriptan succinate 50 mg
• Inactive Ingredients: Calcium hydrogen phosphate anhydrous, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium bicarbonate, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, and Opadry YS-1-1441-G (film coating)

Indication

• Primary Use: Acute relief of migraine attacks with or without aura, including those associated with menstruation
• Mechanism: Selective serotonin (5-HT₁) receptor agonist that narrows blood vessels around the brain and reduces substances that trigger migraine symptoms

Instructions

• Dosage: Start with a 50 mg tablet. If the first dose is effective but symptoms recur, a second dose may be taken after a minimum of 2 hours, not exceeding 300 mg in 24 hours
• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with water. For patients with swallowing difficulties, the tablet can be dispersed in a small amount of water, though it has a bitter taste
• Timing: Take as early as possible after the onset of a migraine attack
