Indications:

Used to treat:

• Primary hypercholesterolemia (type IIa & IIb hyperlipoproteinemia)

• Mixed dyslipidemia

• Coronary heart disease

• Primary prevention of coronary heart disease

• Slowing progression of coronary atherosclerosis

Instructions:

• Adults: Start with 20 mg once daily with the evening meal.

• Maintenance dose: Adjust between 20–80 mg daily, based on individual response.

• Maximum dose: Do not exceed 80 mg daily.

• Patients on immunosuppressive therapy: Limit to ≤20 mg daily.
