Indications

• Prophylaxis: Prevention of Plasmodium falciparum malaria in areas where the pathogen may be resistant to other antimalarials.

Instructions

- Adults and children >40 kg: 1 tablet daily. Start 1–2 days before entering a malaria-endemic area and continue daily until 7 days  - after leaving the area

 - Adults and children >40 kg: 4 tablets as a single dose daily for 3 consecutive days.
