Indications (Uses):
Hovid Ketofen 2.5% Gel is indicated for the symptomatic relief of pain and inflammation associated with:

• Soft Tissue Injuries: Sprains, strains, and sports-related injuries
• Musculoskeletal Disorders: Osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis
• Peri-articular Conditions: Bursitis and tendinitis
• Back Pain and Rheumatic Pain

Instructions (How to Use):

• Application: Apply 2 to 4 grams (approximately 5 to 10 cm) of gel to the affected area.
• Frequency: Use 2 to 4 times daily, depending on the severity of symptoms.
• Method: Gently massage the gel into the skin until fully absorbed.
• Maximum Dose: Do not exceed 15 grams per day.
• Duration: Treatment should not exceed 7 days without consulting a healthcare professional.
• Precautions:
  • Avoid applying to broken, inflamed, or infected skin.
  • Do not use on mucous membranes or near the eyes.
  • Avoid exposure of treated areas to sunlight or UV light during treatment and for 2 weeks after discontinuation to prevent photosensitivity reactions.
  • Do not use with occlusive dressings.
  • Wash hands thoroughly after application, unless treating the hands.
  • If a rash or other signs of hypersensitivity occur, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
