• Administration: For oral use only. Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water. Do not chew, crush, or break it.
• Dosage:
  • Duodenal Ulcer: 40 mg once daily at bedtime for 4–8 weeks.
  • Benign Gastric Ulcer: 40 mg once daily at bedtime for 4–8 weeks.
  • Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): 20 mg twice daily for 6 weeks; for esophagitis, 40 mg twice daily for 6–12 weeks.
  • Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: 20 mg every 6 hours; dosage adjusted according to clinical response.
• Precautions:
  • Use with caution in patients with renal impairment; dose adjustments may be necessary.
  • Not recommended for use in children.
  • Avoid alcohol consumption as it may exacerbate gastrointestinal irritation.
  • Consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • May cause dizziness or headache; avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.
