• Active Ingredient: Each tablet contains 20 mg Famotidine.
• Formulation: Film-coated tablet.
   

• Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): Relief of heartburn and acid indigestion.
• Peptic Ulcers: Treatment and prevention of duodenal and gastric ulcers.
• Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: Management of pathological hypersecretory conditions.
• Helicobacter pylori Eradication: Part of combination therapy to eradicate H. pylori infection.
   

• Administration: For oral use only. Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water. Do not chew, crush, or break it.
• Dosage:
  • Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): 20 mg once daily, preferably in the evening.
  • Peptic Ulcers: 20 mg twice daily for 4–8 weeks.
  • Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: 20 mg twice daily, adjusted according to clinical response.
  • Helicobacter pylori Eradication: 20 mg twice daily as part of combination therapy.
• Precautions:
  • Avoid taking with or within 14 days of stopping monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
  • Use with caution in patients with a history of seizures.
  • Monitor for signs of serotonin syndrome, especially when used with other serotonergic drugs.
  • Discontinuation should be gradual to minimize withdrawal symptoms.
  • Use with caution in elderly patients and those with hepatic impairment.
