• Active Ingredient: Each capsule contains 100 mg Doxycycline Hyclate, equivalent to 100 mg of Doxycycline.
• Formulation: Hard gelatin capsule.

• Infections: Treatment of various bacterial infections, including:
  • Respiratory tract infections (e.g., pneumonia, chronic bronchitis)
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Sexually transmitted infections (e.g., chlamydia, gonorrhea)
  • Skin infections (e.g., acne vulgaris)
  • Eye infections (e.g., conjunctivitis)
  • Tick-borne diseases (e.g., Lyme disease)
  • Malaria prophylaxis and treatment (when chloroquine is ineffective)
    
     

• Administration: For oral use only. Swallow the capsule whole with a full glass of water.
• Dosage:
  • General Infections: 200 mg on the first day, followed by 100 mg daily for 7–10 days.
  • Severe Infections: 200 mg daily for 10 days.
  • Acne Vulgaris: 100 mg daily.
  • Uncomplicated Chlamydia or Non-gonococcal Urethritis: 100 mg twice daily for 7–21 days.
• Precautions:
  • Avoid taking with antacids, iron, calcium, magnesium supplements, or dairy products, as these may reduce absorption.
  • Avoid excessive sun exposure; doxycycline can increase skin sensitivity to sunlight.
  • Complete the full prescribed course, even if symptoms improve, to prevent antibiotic resistance.
• Contraindications:
  • Hypersensitivity to tetracyclines.
  • Children under 8 years of age.
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
