• Active Ingredients: Each film-coated tablet contains 5 mg Glibenclamide and 500 mg Metformin Hydrochloride, combining a sulfonylurea and a biguanide to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus.
• Formulation: The tablet is oblong and yellow, with shallow convex faces, "HD" embossed, and scored on the same face.

• Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in adults, particularly in overweight patients, when dietary management and exercise alone do not result in adequate glycaemic control.
• Monotherapy or Combination Therapy: Diamide 5mg/500mg may be used as monotherapy or in combination with other oral antidiabetic agents, or with insulin.
• Dual Action: Glibenclamide stimulates insulin secretion, while Metformin enhances insulin sensitivity and reduces hepatic glucose production.
  
   

• Administration: For oral use only. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not chew, crush, or split the tablet.
• Dosage: The usual starting dose is 5 mg Glibenclamide and 500 mg Metformin taken 2 or 3 times daily during or after meals.
• Maximum Dose: The maximum recommended dose is 10 mg Glibenclamide and 1,000 mg Metformin daily, taken as 2 or 3 divided doses.
