• Active Ingredient: Racecadotril 10 mg per sachet

• Excipients: Each sachet contains 966.5 mg of sucrose

Indications

• Complementary symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhoea in infants aged over 3 months, when oral rehydration and usual support measures are insufficient to control the clinical condition, and when causal treatment is not possible.

• If causal treatment is possible, racecadotril can be administered as a complementary treatment

Instructions

• Dosage:

  • The recommended dose is 1.5 mg/kg per dose, three times daily at regular intervals.

  • In infants less than 9 kg: one 10 mg sachet three times daily.

  • In infants from 9 kg to 13 kg: two 10 mg sachets three times daily .

• Administration:

  • Mix the granules with food, water, or milk.

  • Ensure immediate administration after preparation .

• Treatment Duration:

  • Continue until two normal stools are recorded.

  • Treatment should not exceed 7 days
