Indications

Hidrasec Children 30mg is indicated for:

• Complementary symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhoea in children aged over 3 months, when oral rehydration and usual support measures are insufficient to control the clinical condition.

• When causal treatment is not possible, or as an adjunct when causal treatment is possible.

Instructions

• Dosage:

  • The recommended dose is 1.5 mg/kg per dose, three times daily at regular intervals.

  • In children weighing 13–27 kg: 1 sachet (30 mg) three times daily.

  • In children weighing over 27 kg: 2 sachets (60 mg) three times daily.

• Administration:

  • Mix the granules with food, water, or milk.

  • Ensure immediate administration after preparation.

• Treatment Duration:

  • Continue until two normal stools are recorded.

  • Treatment should not exceed 7 days.
