Each tablet contains:

• Metformin Hydrochloride 500 mg (biguanide class)

• Glibenclamide 5 mg (sulfonylurea class)

This fixed-dose combination helps control blood glucose by two complementary mechanisms: reducing liver glucose production and increasing insulin release.

Indications

• Indicated for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults.

• Especially useful when diet, exercise, and monotherapy with either metformin or glibenclamide do not result in adequate blood glucose control.

• Used as second-line therapy.

Instructions for Use

• Dosage: Usually 1 tablet once or twice daily, with dose adjustments based on individual response and tolerability.

• Administration: Take with meals to minimize gastrointestinal side effects.

• Monitoring: Regular monitoring of blood glucose and renal function is recommended.
