Content

• Formulation: Hard gelatin capsule containing white to off-white granular powder

• Appearance: Light yellow opaque cap and grey opaque body, size ‘2’ capsule imprinted with ‘H’ on the cap and ‘5’ on the body with blue ink

• Packaging: Available in strips of 10 capsules, with 3 strips per box 

 Indications

• Treatment of Influenza: For adults and children aged 1 year and older, to reduce the severity and duration of flu symptoms when taken within 48 hours of symptom onset

• Prophylaxis of Influenza: For adults and children aged 1 year and older, following close contact with a clinically diagnosed influenza case, to prevent the onset of flu symptoms 

 Instructions

• Dosage:

  • Treatment: 75mg twice daily for 5 days

  • Prophylaxis: 75mg once daily for at least 7 days after exposure to an infected individual

• Administration: Take with or without food; swallowing with a glass of water is recommended

• Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered, unless it's nearly time for the next dose; do not double doses

• Precautions: Consult a doctor before use if you have kidney problems or are pregnant or breastfeeding
