• Formulation: Pressurised metered-dose inhaler (MDI) containing fluticasone propionate

• Strength: Each actuation delivers 125 mcg of fluticasone propionate

• Packaging: Typically available in canisters with 120 metered doses 

 Indications

• Asthma: Prophylactic treatment to prevent asthma attacks

• Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD): Management of symptoms and prevention of exacerbations 

Instructions 

• Priming: Before first use or if not used for more than 7 days, prime the inhaler by releasing 4 actuations into the air

• Administration:

  1. Shake the inhaler well before use

  2. Breathe out fully

  3. Place the mouthpiece between your lips and inhale deeply and forcefully while pressing down on the canister to release the medication

  4. Hold your breath for 5–10 seconds
