• Active Ingredient: Levothyroxine sodium 100 mcg per tablet.

Indications

Euthyrox 100mcg is indicated for:

• Hypothyroidism: Substitution therapy in primary (thyroidal), secondary (pituitary), and tertiary (hypothalamic) hypothyroidism.

• Benign Euthyroid Goitre: Treatment of non-cancerous enlargement of the thyroid gland.

• Post-Surgical Relapse Prevention: Prophylaxis of relapse after surgery for euthyroid goitre.

• Thyroid Cancer: Suppression therapy in thyroid cancer.

• Hyperthyroidism: Concomitant supplementation during anti-thyroid drug treatment of hyperthyroidism.

• Diagnostic Use: Thyroid suppression testing.

Instructions for Use

• Dosage: The dosage should be individualized based on laboratory tests and clinical examinations.

• Administration: Take one tablet daily, preferably in the morning, on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before breakfast.

• For Infants and Children: For infants who cannot swallow tablets, the tablet can be crushed and suspended in a small amount of water. The suspension must be freshly prepared and administered immediately.

• Monitoring: Regular monitoring of thyroid function is recommended to adjust the dose as needed.

• Precautions: Not recommended for weight reduction.
