Indications

Estelle-35 is indicated for:

• Androgen-Dependent Conditions: Moderate to severe acne, especially when accompanied by seborrhoea or inflammation (acne papulopustulosa, acne nodulocystica), androgenic alopecia, and mild hirsutism.

• Oral Contraception: For women requiring treatment for these androgen-dependent conditions.

• Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS): To alleviate symptoms associated with PCOS.

Instructions for Use

• Dosage: Take one yellow (active) tablet daily for 21 consecutive days.

• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not chew or crush.

• Timing: Preferably take at the same time each day.

• Starting the Pack:

  • If no previous hormonal contraceptive use: Start on the first day of your menstrual cycle (first day of bleeding).

  • If switching from another combined hormonal contraceptive: Start the day after finishing your previous pack.

  • If switching from a progestogen-only method: Start any day, but use additional contraception for the first 7 days.

• After Completing the 21 Tablets: There is a 7-day tablet-free interval during which withdrawal bleeding usually occurs.

• Starting the Next Pack: Begin the next pack after the 7-day tablet-free interval, even if bleeding has not stopped.

• Missed Tablet:

  • Less than 12 hours late: Take the missed tablet as soon as remembered and continue with the next tablet at the usual time.

  • More than 12 hours late: Take the missed tablet as soon as remembered, even if it means taking two tablets at the same time. Use additional contraception for the next 7 days.
