Indications

Betacin Eye/Ear Drops are indicated for the treatment of inflammatory conditions of the eye or ear where bacterial infection is suspected or confirmed. This includes conditions such as conjunctivitis, blepharitis, keratitis, otitis externa, and other superficial infections.

Instructions

• Dosage:

  • Eye Use: Instill 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s) every one or two hours until control is achieved; then, reduce the frequency.

  • Ear Use: Instill 2–3 drops into the affected ear(s) every two or three hours until control is achieved; then, reduce the frequency.

• Administration:

  • Eye Use: Wash hands before use. Tilt the head back, pull down the lower eyelid, and instill the prescribed number of drops into the conjunctival sac.

  • Ear Use: Clean and dry the ear before application. Tilt the head or lie down with the affected ear facing upward. Instill the prescribed number of drops into the ear canal and remain in this position for a few minutes to allow the medication to penetrate.

• Storage:

  • Store below 25°C (room temperature).

  • Keep away from direct sunlight.

  • Do not refrigerate.

  • Keep out of reach of children.
