Indications

Beamotil Tablet is indicated for:

• Symptomatic treatment of acute and chronic diarrhea.

• Adjunctive therapy to fluid and electrolyte replacement.

• Reducing stool frequency and fluidity in patients with colostomies or ileostomies.

Instructions

• Dosage:

  • Adults: Initially, 5 mg (2 tablets) 4 times daily.

  • May reduce to 5 mg daily once satisfactory control is achieved.

  • Maximum: 20 mg (8 tablets) daily.

• Administration:

  • Swallow tablets whole with water.

  • Do not chew, crush, or break tablets.

• Storage:

  • Store in a dry place below 30°C.

  • Protect from light.

  • Keep out of reach of children.
