Indications: Dilatrend is indicated for:

Essential hypertension (mild to moderate)

Stable angina pectoris

Chronic heart failure (mild to severe)

Left ventricular dysfunction following acute myocardial infarction (heart attack)

Instructions:

Administration: Take with food to reduce the risk of orthostatic hypotension.

Dosage:

Hypertension: Start with 12.5 mg once daily for 2 days, then increase to 25 mg once daily. If necessary, may increase to a maximum of 50 mg daily in single or divided doses.

Angina: Start with 12.5 mg twice daily for 2 days, then increase to 25 mg twice daily.

Heart Failure: Start with 3.125 mg twice daily, increasing gradually to 25 mg twice daily, based on patient tolerance.

Precautions: Monitor for side effects such as dizziness or fatigue. Do not discontinue abruptly; tapering may be necessary.
