• Active Ingredient: Each tablet contains 25 mg of Carvedilol, a non-selective beta and alpha-1 adrenergic blocker with antioxidant properties.

• Inactive Ingredients: Includes sucrose, lactose monohydrate, povidone, crospovidone, colloidal anhydrous silica, and magnesium stearate.

• Content: Each tablet contains 25 mg carvedilol, a non-selective beta- and alpha-1 adrenergic blocker with antioxidant properties.

• Indications: Dilatrend is indicated for:

  • Essential hypertension (mild to moderate)

  • Stable angina pectoris

  • Chronic heart failure (mild to severe)

  • Left ventricular dysfunction following acute myocardial infarction (heart attack)

• Instructions:

  • Administration: Take with food to reduce the risk of orthostatic hypotension.

  • Dosage:

    • Hypertension: Start with 12.5 mg once daily for 2 days, then increase to 25 mg once daily. If necessary, may increase to a maximum of 50 mg daily in single or divided doses.

    • Angina: Start with 12.5 mg twice daily for 2 days, then increase to 25 mg twice daily.

    • Heart Failure: Start with 3.125 mg twice daily, increasing gradually to 25 mg twice daily, based on patient tolerance.

  • Precautions: Monitor for side effects such as dizziness or fatigue. Do not discontinue abruptly; tapering may be necessary.
