• Content: Each tablet contains 6.25 mg of carvedilol, an α- and β-adrenergic blocker with antioxidant properties.

• Indications: Dilatrend is indicated for:

  • Chronic heart failure (mild to severe)

  • Essential hypertension (high blood pressure)

  • Stable angina pectoris (chest pain)

  • Left ventricular dysfunction following acute myocardial infarction (heart attack)

• Instructions:

  • Take with food to reduce the risk of orthostatic hypotension.

  • Swallow tablets whole; do not crush or chew.

  • Start with 3.125 mg twice daily for heart failure; for hypertension, start with 12.5 mg once daily.
