Indications

Prolidin Syrup is indicated for the temporary relief of:

• Nasal and sinus congestion

• Sneezing

• Runny nose associated with the common cold and allergic rhinitis

 

Instructions for Use

• Administration: For oral use only. Shake the bottle well before use. Measure the prescribed dose using the provided measuring spoon and take it by mouth.

• Dosage:

  • Adults and children over 12 years: 2 teaspoonfuls (10 ml) every 4 to 6 hours

  • Children 7–12 years: 1 teaspoonful (5 ml) every 4 to 6 hours

  • Children 2–6 years: ½ teaspoonful (2.5 ml) every 4 to 6 hours

• Precautions:

  • Not to be used in children under 2 years of age.

  • Use with caution in patients with hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, or thyroid disorders.

  • Avoid alcohol consumption, as it may enhance side effects such as dizziness and drowsiness.

  • May cause side effects such as dry mouth, dizziness, headache, nausea, and urinary retention.
