Indications

Dynapharm Ibufen 400mg Tablet is indicated for:

• Relief of mild to moderate pain, including headache, toothache, dysmenorrhoea, and musculoskeletal pain

• Management of inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis

• Reduction of fever

Instructions for Use

• Administration: For oral use only. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. It is advisable to take this medication with food or milk to minimize gastrointestinal discomfort.

• Dosage:

  • Adults and children over 12 years: 400 mg to 600 mg three times daily. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 2.4 g.

  • Children under 12 years: Dosage should be determined by a healthcare professional based on body weight and clinical condition.

• Precautions:

  • Avoid use in patients with a history of gastrointestinal bleeding, peptic ulcer disease, or hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or other NSAIDs.

  • Use with caution in individuals with renal or hepatic impairment, cardiovascular disease, or hypertension.

  • Not recommended during the third trimester of pregnancy due to potential risks to the fetus.

  • Limit alcohol consumption as it may increase the risk of gastrointestinal side effects.

• Side Effects:

  • Common: Nausea, heartburn, stomach pain, dizziness.

  • Serious: Gastrointestinal bleeding, renal dysfunction, allergic reactions.
