Indications

Dyriton Syrup is indicated for:

• Palliative treatment of hay fever and vasomotor rhinitis

• Allergic conjunctivitis

• Mild, uncomplicated allergic skin manifestations of urticaria and angioneurotic oedema

• Drug sensitisation reactions

• Amelioration of allergic reactions to blood or plasma, foreign proteins, insect bites, and stings

• Relief of congestion in the upper respiratory tract associated with common cold or irritation arising from dry, dusty climatic conditions

Instructions for Use

• Administration: For oral use only. Shake the bottle well before use. Measure the dose using the provided measuring spoon.

• Dosage:

  • Adults: 1 to 2 teaspoonfuls (5 ml to 10 ml) 3 to 4 times daily.

  • Children (7–12 years): ½ to 1 teaspoonful (2.5 ml to 5 ml) 3 to 4 times daily.

  • Children (2–6 years): ½ teaspoonful (2.5 ml) 3 to 4 times daily.

  • Not recommended for children under 2 years unless prescribed by a doctor.

• Precautions:

  • May cause drowsiness; avoid driving or operating heavy machinery.

  • Alcohol may increase drowsiness and sedation effects.

  • Use cautiously in elderly patients and individuals with conditions like glaucoma, asthma, prostate enlargement, or high blood pressure.

• Side Effects:

  • Common: Drowsiness, dry mouth, throat, or nose, dizziness, gastrointestinal discomfort.

  • Serious (Rare): Difficulty urinating, rapid heartbeat, severe allergic reactions.

• Storage: Store at room temperature (15–30°C). Keep tightly closed and away from children.
