Indications

Dyna Gabapentin 300mg Capsule is indicated for:

• Adjunctive therapy in the treatment of partial seizures with and without secondary generalization in adults and children aged 3 years and above.

• Monotherapy in the treatment of partial seizures with and without secondary generalization in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and above.

• Treatment of neuropathic pain such as painful diabetic neuropathy and post-herpetic neuralgia in adults aged 18 years and above.

Instructions for Use

• Administration: For oral use only. Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water. It can be taken with or without food.

• Dosage:

  • Adults and Adolescents (12 years and above):

    • Start with 300 mg once daily on Day 1.

    • Increase to 300 mg twice daily on Day 2.

    • Increase to 300 mg three times daily on Day 3.

    • The dose may be adjusted based on individual response and tolerability, up to a maximum of 3600 mg per day.

  • Children (3–12 years): Dosage should be determined by a healthcare professional based on weight and clinical condition.

  • Elderly and Renal Impairment: Dose adjustments may be necessary.

• Discontinuation: If gabapentin needs to be discontinued, it should be done gradually over a minimum of 1 week to avoid withdrawal symptoms.
