• Trimetazidine dihydrochloride 20 mg

Indications

• Adjunctive therapy for the symptomatic treatment of patients with stable angina pectoris who are inadequately controlled or intolerant to first-line anti-anginal therapies.

• Improves myocardial glucose utilization by shifting metabolism from fatty acid oxidation to glucose oxidation.

• Helps reduce the frequency of angina attacks and improves exercise tolerance.

Instructions 

• Dosage: 1 tablet (20 mg) three times daily, taken with meals.

• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not chew, crush, or split.

• Special Populations:

  • For patients with moderate renal impairment: 1 tablet twice daily with meals.

  • For elderly patients: Dose adjustment may be necessary based on kidney function.

• Storage: Store in a dry place at room temperature, out of reach of children.
