Content:

• Formulation: White hard gelatin capsules filled with white powder, marked “Clin 300” and “Pfizer”. 

Indications:

• Treatment of serious infections caused by susceptible anaerobic bacteria and susceptible strains of gram-positive aerobic bacteria such as streptococci, staphylococci, and pneumococci. 

• Infections include:

  • Upper and lower respiratory tract infections

  • Skin and soft tissue infections

  • Bone and joint infections

  • Pelvic infections

  • Intra-abdominal infections

  • Septicemia and endocarditis
    
    Dental infections 

Instructions:

• Dosage: Adults: 600–1,800 mg daily, divided into 2, 3, or 4 equal doses. 
  May be taken with or without food. 

• Swallow whole with a full glass of water and remain in an upright position. 

• Continue treatment for at least 10 days for certain infections, such as β-hemolytic streptococcal infections. 

• Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to clindamycin or lincomycin.
  
  : Risk of severe colitis; should be reserved for serious infections where less toxic antimicrobial agents are inappropriate. 

• Special Precautions: Discontinue use if hypersensitivity or severe skin reactions occur. 

• Use in Pregnancy & Lactation: Use with caution; consult healthcare provider.
