Each pessary contains 400mg of micronised progesterone, a natural female hormone essential for regulating the menstrual cycle and supporting early pregnancy. The pessaries are off-white and torpedo-shaped. They are designed for vaginal or rectal insertion and are suitable for Halal consumers, as both the active and excipient ingredients are of vegetable origin. 

Indications

Cyclogest 400mg is indicated for:

• Treatment of premenstrual syndrome (PMS), including premenstrual tension and depression

• Treatment of puerperal (postpartum) depression

• Luteal phase support in assisted reproductive technology (ART) treatments, such as in vitro fertilisation (IVF) 

Instructions 

• Dosage:

  • For PMS and puerperal depression: 200mg daily to 400mg twice a day, administered vaginally or rectally.

  • For ART luteal phase support: 400mg administered vaginally twice a day starting at oocyte retrieval, continued for 38 days if pregnancy is confirmed. 
    
    Administration: Insert the pessary into the vagina or rectum using clean hands. If using vaginally, ensure the pessary is inserted deeply to allow for proper absorption.

• Storage: Store below 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
