• 100 tablets per bottle, each containing 500mg of Ciprofloxacin.

 

Indications 

Ciprodac 500mg is prescribed for the treatment of various bacterial infections, including:

• Respiratory tract infections (e.g., pneumonia, bronchitis)

• Urinary tract infections (e.g., cystitis, pyelonephritis)

• Skin and soft tissue infections

• Bone and joint infections

• Gastrointestinal infections (e.g., infectious diarrhea, enteritis)

• Genital tract infections (e.g., prostatitis, gonococcal infections)

• Ophthalmic, otic, and sinus infections

• Anthrax (post-exposure prophylaxis)

• Meningococcal infections

• Intra-abdominal infections

• Sepsis and bacteremia

• Gonorrhea and pelvic inflammatory disease (PID)

• Traveler's diarrhea and shigellosis

• Typhoid fever and tularemia

• Chancroid and other genital infections

• Peritonitis and sepsis

• Selective decontamination of the digestive tract in immunocompromised patients

• Post-exposure prophylaxis for inhalational anthrax

• Urinary tract infections (both upper and lower)

• Genital tract infections (e.g., gonorrhea, epididymo-orchitis, PID)

• Gastrointestinal and intra-abdominal infections (e.g., diarrhea, shigellosis, enteritis)

• Other infections caused by ciprofloxacin-sensitive pathogens

Instructions 

• Dosage: Typically, 500mg twice daily, or as prescribed by your healthcare provider. 

• Administration:

  • Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.

  • Do not chew, crush, or split the tablet.

  • Can be taken with or without food.

  • Avoid consuming dairy products or calcium-fortified juices close to the time of taking the medication.
    
    Precautions:

    • Complete the full course of treatment, even if symptoms improve, to prevent antibiotic resistance.

    • Consult your doctor before use if you have a history of tendon disorders, epilepsy, kidney disease, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.

    • Avoid alcohol consumption during treatment.
