  • Manufacturer: Duopharma (M) Sdn. Bhd., Malaysia

Content

Each mL contains latanoprost (prostaglandin analogue), timolol maleate (beta-blocker), benzalkonium chloride (preservative), and other inactive ingredients.

Indications

  • Reduction of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension who are insufficiently responsive to other topical IOP-lowering agents

  • Latanoprost, a prostaglandin analogue, increases the outflow of aqueous humor, while Timolol, a non-selective beta-blocker, decreases aqueous humor production

  • The combined effect results in additional IOP reduction compared to either compound administered alone

Instructions for Use

  • Dosage: Instill one drop into the affected eye(s) once daily, preferably in the evening

  • Administration:

    • Remove contact lenses before instillation and wait at least 15 minutes before reinsertion

    • If using multiple topical ophthalmic medications, administer them at least five minutes apart

    • To reduce systemic absorption, apply gentle pressure to the inner corner of the eye (punctal occlusion) for about one minute after instillation

  • Storage: Store between 2°C and 8°C (36°F to 46°F); do not freeze
