  Indications

• Prevention of organ transplant rejection (e.g., kidney, heart, liver) when used with corticosteroids and/or other immunosuppressive agents

• Treatment of autoimmune conditions such as:

  • Systemic lupus erythematosus

  • Rheumatoid arthritis

  • Crohn’s disease

  • Ulcerative colitis

  • Autoimmune hemolytic anemia

  • Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura

  • Pemphigus vulgaris

  • Dermatomyositis and polymyositis

  • Autoimmune chronic active hepatitis

  • Polyarteritis nodosa

Instructions for Use

• Dosage: Typically ranges from 1 to 4 mg/kg/day, adjusted based on clinical response and hematologic tolerance

• Administration:

  • Take orally, preferably 1 hour before or 3 hours after meals

  • Swallow tablets whole with a full glass of water

  • Do not chew or crush tablets

• Monitoring: Regular blood tests are required to monitor for potential side effects, including bone marrow suppression
