Dimenhydrinate 50 mg per tablet; excipients typical for solid oral tablets (e.g., fillers, binders, lubricants)

 

Indications

• Prevention & treatment of motion sickness, including nausea, vomiting, dizziness, vertigo linked to travel, labyrinthine disorders, and similar conditions

 

Instructions

• Adults: 50–100 mg orally every 6–8 hours (or ½–1 hr before travel for prevention)

• Children 6–12 yrs: 25–50 mg every 6–8 hours (max 150 mg/day)

• Children 2–6 yrs: Up to 25 mg every 6–8 hours (max 75 mg/day) 

• Can be taken with or without food; swallow whole with water. Avoid in children under 2 yrs, hypersensitivity, or contraindicated conditions (asthma, glaucoma, prostate enlargement); caution required if using with alcohol or sedatives
