Moxifloxacin Kabi 400mg/250ml Solution for Infusion (KabiPac) contains the active ingredient moxifloxacin hydrochloride. Each 250 mL of the solution contains 400 mg of moxifloxacin hydrochloride.
Indications:
Moxifloxacin Kabi is used for the treatment of:
Community-Acquired Pneumonia (CAP): Infections of the lungs acquired outside the hospital.
Complicated Skin and Skin Structure Infections (cSSSI): Severe and complicated infections of the skin and soft tissues.
Instructions:
Dosage: The recommended dose is 400 mg once daily, administered by intravenous infusion over 60 minutes.
Administration:
Administer the solution intravenously (IV) by infusion.
Ensure the immediate availability of oxygen and other resuscitative equipment when administering the infusion.
