Indications

Montelukast Sandoz 5mg is indicated for:

• Prophylaxis and chronic treatment of asthma in adults and children aged 2 years and older.

• Relief of symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis in adults and children aged 2 years and older.

• Prevention of exercise-induced bronchoconstriction in patients 6 years and older

Instructions

• Dosage: Take one 5mg tablet once daily in the evening.

• Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not chew, crush, or break it.

• Consistency: Take the medication at the same time each day for optimal results.

• Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it's almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose—do not double the dose.

• Precautions: Consult your doctor before use if you have a history of liver disease, phenylketonuria (due to aspartame content), or are pregnant or breastfeeding.
