Indications:
Medoprazole Capsule 20mg is used to treat:

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD): This is where acid from the stomach escapes into the gullet (the tube which connects your throat to your stomach), causing pain, inflammation, and heartburn.
• Peptic ulcers: Ulcers in the upper part of the intestine (duodenal ulcer) or stomach (gastric ulcer).
• Erosive esophagitis: Inflammation and damage to the esophagus caused by stomach acid.
• Zollinger-Ellison syndrome: A condition where the stomach produces too much acid.
• H. pylori infection: When ulcers are infected with bacteria called Helicobacter pylori.

Instructions:

1. Dosage: The usual dose for adults is 20mg once daily. The dose may vary based on the condition being treated and the patient's response to the medication.
2. Administration: Take the capsule orally with water, with or without food.
3. Precautions: Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney problems. Avoid use if you are allergic to omeprazole or other proton pump inhibitors1.
